There is a monthly update.The purpose of this Directory is to promote the rational use of medicines.
Rational use means that only medicines are used for which validated studies exist that one adequately used these drugs (in terms of indications, contraindications, dosage, interactions, ...) and that takes into account the cost.
In this context, the notion of "evidence-based pharmacotherapy" to be mentioned: it is important to know what the evidence is on the risk-benefit ratio of a drug.
